Which is which

There was a 20-year old girl who lived with her boyfriend. Their life together was a perfect idyll and they both hoped that nothing would happen to change it. Each time they embraced, she told her boyfriend that she could not live without him. He assured her that he felt the same way. They were madly in love.

One Saturday night, they went out to a nightclub to celebrate the birthday of a friend. While they were there, they drank way too much alcohol. They returned home very late, and, eager to get to bed, they took a shortcut and drove at a high speed.

The next morning, when they woke up, they both felt that something about their relationship had changed. Their mutual understanding was somehow different. They no longer spoke, no longer touched, no longer kissed. In short, they almost completely ignored each other.

That evening, they both found themselves watching TV together. The news came on and there was a story about a fatal accident that had happened the night before. The newsreader said that one of the victims had died and one had survived. When the pictures of the two victims flashed up on the screen, the girl and her boyfriend were horrified. They were staring at their own faces. The most terrifying thing was that there was one question that remained unanswered…

Which one of them was the ghost?

FAMILY PHOTO

There was a single mother who had three daughters. The youngest daughter was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor. The doctors broke the bad news to her mother. They told the poor woman that her daughter had only three months to live.

The family were devastated by the horrible news. The mother decided to have a family photo taken while her youngest daughter was still alive. That way, they would always have something to remember her by.

They hired a professional photographer to come and take the photo. The family posed with the youngest daughter sitting in the middle of the picture and her mother and older sisters arranged around her. Afterwards, they had it framed and hung it over the fireplace in the living room.

Three months later, the youngest daughter died in hospital. Her mother and her two sisters were at her bedside when she passed away. The funeral took place two days later.

After the funeral, the mother was sitting in the living room when she happened to glance up at the family photo over the fireplace. She was horrified to discover that her daughter’s face in the photo was shifting and changing. It looked distended and deformed. Almost demonic.

They brought the family photo to the professional photographer and complained. He said he had no explanation for why the photo would suddenly change, making the dead child appear so grotesque.

The mother was at her wit’s end. She took the family photo to a psychic and begged the psychic to tell her what was wrong. The psychic took one look at the family photo and recoiled in horror.

“I’m sorry to have to tell you this”, said the psychic. “Unfortunately, your daughter fell into hell.”

Creepy Photos

A young girl was walking home from school one day, when she spotted a pile of old photos lying on the sidewalk. They were stacked together and neatly wrapped in a rubber band.

She picked up the pile of photographs and started to flip through them. A chill ran down her spine when she looked at the first photo. It showed a creepy old man dressed in white. Behind him, the background was pitch black. He was standing just far enough away from the camera that she couldn’t make out his face.

The next photo showed the same man, except he was standing a bit closer. Looking through the rest of the photos, the girl began to get an eerie feeling. In each one, the man in the picture was inching closer and closer and his face was still blurred. She got the strangest feeling that the man in the photographs was looking at her.

In one photo, the man was so close that his face was completely filling up the frame. As she neared her house, the girl turned to the last photo. This time, instead of an image, there were two words: “Close enough.”

Hearing a scream outside their house, the girl’s brother rushed to the door and went outside, All he saw was a pile of photographs lying on the doorstep. The top one looked like an extremely pale version of his sister, but she was standing too far back for him to make out her face.

Three Days

It’s hard being a mother. I recently found out that my son is psychic. He’s got this habit of pointing at people’s faces sometimes. My husband and I realized that whenever our son points at somebody like that, it means they’re going to die within three days. Last year, he pointed at his grandfather. Three days later, his grandfather died of a heart attack. A few months ago, he pointed at a picture of a famous actress in a magazine. Three days later, she was killed in a car accident. Today, when I went to turn on the TV, my son was pointing at the screen. When I turned it on, the President was giving a speech. I can’t believe the President is going to die, but my son is never wrong.

Where’s Mommy?

There was taxi driver whose wife disappeared, leaving him with a five-year old daughter to bring up on his own. The father had to work long hours and wasn’t able to spend much time at home. He often went out early in the morning and didn’t return until late at night.

His neighbor was a single woman and she kindly volunteered to come over and look after the child while he was gone. Every night, the little girl would lie awake, crying her eyes out and calling her father’s name. Then, one night, she stopped crying. Listening at her bedroom door, the neighbor could hear the little girl laughing. It sounded as if she was talking to someone.

“Oh, her father must have come home early,” thought the neighbor.

She opened the bedroom door and found the little girl sitting alone on her bed, laughing in the dark. There was nobody else in the room. The neighbor decided that she had to get to the bottom of this strange behavior.

“Who are you talking to at night when your father is out working?” she asked.

“My mom,” replied the little girl. “Whenever I’m lonely and crying, my mom comes and hugs me and kisses me on the cheek.”

The woman was shocked. “But I’m always here and the front door is locked,” she said. “How does she get in?”

The little girl pointed to the basement door and in a whisper, she said, “She comes crawling out of there…”

A chill went down the neighbor’s spine and she immediately called the police.

Ghost Photo

image

My friends and I love looking at ghost photos on the internet. One evening, we planned to take a trip to a haunted place and see if we could take some ghost pictures of our own.

There were four of us in the group and it was almost dusk when we arrived at the old house. Each of us had a digital camera and between us, we must have taken a picture of every nook and cranny in the building.

I collected the cameras from my friends and the minute I got home, I downloaded all the pictures onto my laptop. Then I checked through all of the photos, one by one. Imagine my disappointment when I realized not even one of them had captured anything out of the ordinary. Four hundred photos and not one ghost!

However, I decided to play a trick on my friends. I found a group photo with the four of us in it and used Photoshop to put a scary ghost face in the background. I was very subtle about it. You had to look very hard at the photo before you noticed the fake ghost.

The next day, I printed it out and showed it to one of my friends. He took one look at it and his face went pale.

“I-I-Is this for real?” he stammered. His hands were even shaking.

“Yeah, man!” I said. “It’s for real!”

What a dummy! LOL.

Was there really a ghost or not?

Burglar

image

A few minutes ago, I was taking a shower and I heard a scream from the living room. I got out of the bath and ran out there naked. When I got there, I saw a burglar standing over the dead bodies of my mom, my dad and my sister. When the burglar saw me, he jumped out the window and ran off. I’m so scared. I don’t know what to do.

What really happened?

The Expressionless

image

In June of 1972, a woman appeared in Cedar Senai hospital in nothing but a white gown covered in blood. Now this in itself should not be too surprising as people often have accidents nearby and come to the nearest hospital for medical attention. But there were two things that caused people who saw her to vomit and flee in terror.

The first, being that she wasn’t exactly human. She resembled something close to a mannequin, but had the dexterity and fluidity of a normal human being. Her face, was as flawless as a mannequins, devoid of eyebrows and smeared in make-up. That’s the other reason people were throwing up or fleeing in terror.

She had a kitten clenched in between her teeth, her jaws clamped so unnaturally tightly around it to the point where no teeth could be seen, the blood was still squirting out over her gown and onto the floor. She then pulled it out of her mouth, tossed it aside and collapsed.

From the moment she stepped through the entrance to when she was taken to a hospital room and cleaned up before being prepped for sedation, she was completely calm, expressionless and motionless. The doctors had thought it best to restrain her until the authorities could arrive and she did not protest. They were unable to get any kind of response from her and most staff members felt too uncomfortable to look directly at her for more than a few seconds.

But the second the staff tried to sedate her, she fought back with extreme force. Two members of staff holding her down as her body rose up on the bed with that same, blank expression.

She turned her emotionless eyes towards the male doctor and did something unusual. She smiled.

As she did, the female doctor screamed and let go out of shock. In the womans mouth were not human teeth, but long, sharp spikes. Too long for her mouth to close fully without causing any damage…

The male doctor stared back at her for a moment before asking “What in the hell are you?”

She cracked her neck down to her shoulder to observe him, still smiling.

There was a long pause, the security had been alerted and could be heard coming down the hallway.

As he heard them, she darted forward, sinking her teeth into the front of his throat, ripping out his jugular & letting him fall to the floor, gasping for air as he choked on his own blood.

She stood up and leaned over him, her face coming dangerously close to his as the life faded from his eyes.

She leaned closer and whispered in his ear.

“I…am….God….”

The doctors eyes filled with fear as he watched her calmly walk away to greet the security men. His last ever sight would be watching her feast on them one by one.

The female doctor who survived the incident named her “The Expressionless”.

There was never a sighting of her again.

The Baby Doll

A toy company began selling “realistic” baby dolls to expectant mothers. But apparently, after the mother had her child, the baby toy would start crying. Eventually, the “rocking motion” advertised to calm it down wouldn’t work, and you couldn’t get it to stop without shaking it. Eventually when it started crying the parent would have to beat it, and the beatings and thrashings would have to get harder and harder to get it to be quiet. The only thing that seemed to shut the baby doll up permanently was the bash its head against the wall to destroy whatever mechanism triggered the crying. On more than one occasion though, neighbors called the authorities to report child abuse, and when the police arrived they found the bloody remains of infants smeared across the walls and the floor. In most cases the mother couldn’t understand why the police were there, she just “got rid of the stupid doll” as she rocked a baby-shaped bundle in her arms.

How to Go to Another World by Using the Elevator

1. Get in the elevator (you must get in alone).
2. While in the elevator, go to the floors in the following order: 4th floor →2nd floor→6th  floor→2nd  floor→10th floor. (If someone else gets in while you are doing it, you can not complete the ritual.)
3. When you arrive at the 10th floor, press the 5th floor button without getting out.
4. When you arrive at the 5th floor a young woman will get in and join you in the elevator. (Do not speak to her.)
5. After the woman gets in, press the 1st floor button.
6. After you press the 1st floor button, the elevator will take you up to the 10th floor instead of taking you down to the 1st floor. (If you press other floors’ buttons at this point you will fail to complete the ritual, but this is also your last chance to quit it.)
7. When your elevator has gone past the 9th floor, you can take it as a sign that your ritual is now well nigh complete.

There is only one way of checking if you have been successful at the ritual or not;
The world you have arrived should have only one person - namely you - in it.
I do not know what happens after you arrive there.
But I can tell you this much; the woman who gets into the elevator on the 5th floor is not a human being.

Here is one man’s experience of the ritual:

I tried it!!
The company I work for has a ten-storey building, and so it was convinient.
It was a holiday and no one was around too.

So I went 4→2→6.
The 6th floor is where I work and I could see my empty office from the elevator.
Then I went 2→10. No one was getting in. It was a holiday after all.

Then I arrived on the 5th floor, the door opened, and I saw someone standing there!
It was a woman too!
I was startled and let out a little gasp.
But it was just my senior colleague, Ms Takemoto(pseudonym). She is a woman, about thirty or so.
She was laughing at my reaction.
‘You are working overtime too, Ms Takemoto?’ I said and let her in.
I was going to press the 1st floor button, but I thought it would appear weird for a person to come to the building the first thing in the morning and then immediately leave, and anyway the ritual was already over, and so I gave up and pressed the 6th floor button.
(When I come to think of it now, it must have appeared weird too for a person to come down in the elevator and go up again without getting out. lol)

But then Ms Takemoto pressed the 10th floor after me which made me jump a little.
Well, I think she works on the 10th floor.
I thought maybe something might still happen if I ventured to go up to the 10th floor, but if I had gone up there with Ms Takemoto without reason she certainly would have taken me for a weirdo, and so with much regret I got out at the 6th floor.

As was I getting out I thought I heard someone click his tongue behind me.
I spun around but the elevator door had already closed and I wasn’t sure if it was Ms Takemoto who made that sound.
Maybe I just imagined it.

So nothing happened to me after all.
But I wonder what Ms Takemoto was doing on the 5th floor at that time of day.

RECYCLED

I was in a station, sitting on a bench and waiting for the train to come.

Presently, a lady holding a baby to her breast sat down next to me.

Well I’m fond of children and I couldn’t help but stare at the sweet-looking baby.
The  lady noticed this and she started chatting to me in a friendly manner.

“This isn’t actually a baby, you know. It’s a bag.” As she said so, she turned over the baby’s clothes and showed me a zipper on the belly.

Now that she said it, I noticed that the baby’s eyes appeared to be made of glass too.

“Wow, it looks very realistic.”

“Yes, I know. It takes a lot of work to make it. Time-consuming, too. But it doesn’t bother me, because I love recycling things,” she replied with a smile.

Just then the train pulled up. She stood up and got on the train.

I was going to catch the same train but I couldn’t bring myself to move.
So I sat there rigid and stared after the train until it disappeared into the distance.

THE NEWS BULLETIN (Japanese Urban Legend)

About ten years ago, I turned on the TV around 2:30 am. Sure enough, all I saw on the screen were color bars and there was no sign of anything coming up soon.

I was about to give up and go to bed when suddenly the color bars disappeared from the screen, and some place that looked like a dumping ground appeared instead.

Together with the image, the words “NNN The News Bulletin” popped up at the top. For a while the screen continued to show the same dumping ground, viewed from a distance.

I carried on watching it, wondering what it was. Soon, a lot of names started appearing, moving slowly up from the bottom of the screen, like end credits of a movie; and a monotonous voice read out these names one by one.

So it went on for the next five minutes or so, against a quiet, gloomy music in the background.

Finally, when all the names had been said, the voice announced; “They are tomorrow’s victims. Good night.”

Ever since then, I’m too scared to watch anything on TV past midnight.

And no one has ever believed my story either.
