When I found out the names of the characters in this story, I noticed that they were exactly like the film adaptation of “Scarecrows” (HC Volume #4, Chapter #2). There’s Kaoru and her brother, Tsuyoshi, Izumi etc.

This might be another basis of the Kakashi movie — no wonder the adaptation was kinda different than the original manga. Well before I spoil anything else, read it to find out yourself… and maybe you might want to check out that movie too if you haven’t.

Wow.. so many scanlations in a week. I think Junji Ito’s Horror Collection will be completed this year. I have high hopes for it! :D

Many thanks to Jo, Lauren and Jen for completing this project with me! This has been the longest story we have done so far. It’s over 50+ pages… whew. But yeah, it’s worth it. I really like this story so I hope you do, too.
